We’re based in Barbados and that’s where our story starts.
Small islands like ours have long struggled to compete with the large
producers that dominate global sugar production.
So, we decided to do things differently.
For a start, our sugar is sustainably sourced from small farmers and purchased direct from the mill to ensure that every grain benefits communities in Barbados.
Then we sell direct to end-customers in regional and export markets, rather
than through traditional traders and middlemen.
This Direct Trade relationship means that we’re able to pay more than double the market price for the sugar we buy and that’s, quite simply, fairer for everyone.

From the mineral rich coral soils of Barbados comes the Caribbean’s very finest sugar
Barbados’ temperate climate, beautiful sunshine, gentle trade winds and cooling rains have created the perfect conditions for growing sugar cane since the 1600’s
Today Barbados is the only coral island that continues to produce sugar cane and the results are exquisite.
It’s carefully produced in small batches to produce larger crystals of natural cane sugar with an amazing taste and aroma.
